MYRTLE Seaside, S.C. (WMBF) – The Myrtle Beach front law enforcement have one particular person in custody in link to a kidnapping at a hotel.
Police claimed on late Wednesday evening Rysheen Dala Williams, 40, of Columbia, SC, forced his way into a resort place at the Palette Vacation resort and took two relatives members at gunpoint.
Williams fled with each household customers and was found and taken into custody in Florence inside four hours.
The two victims ended up recovered and unharmed thanks to the rapid action by investigators and support from the Florence County Sheriffs Place of work, Florence City Law enforcement Division, South Carolina Legislation Enforcement Division, and the FBI.
”Violence towards a loved ones member is inexcusable, and perpetrators will be prosecuted,” stated Main Amy Prock. “I am thankful for the brief action by our team and for our law enforcement companions who served get better the victims unharmed.”
Williams is billed with kidnapping, domestic violence of a superior and aggravated character, theft initial diploma, assault and battery of a substantial and aggravated mother nature, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Further costs are achievable as the investigation is still ongoing.
Williams is scheduled for a bond hearing at the Ted Collins Law Enforcement Center at 8 a.m. Friday.
