A 35-calendar year-previous Florida girl was arrested Monday afternoon following threatening to soar from a next-tale Daytona Beach front motel place but instead threw a pet off the balcony.
The doggy landed on its feet and was not critically injured, according to Volusia County Sheriff’s Office environment.
Allison Murphy was arrested subsequent the incident and faces costs of animal cruelty and resisting an officer with violence, mentioned VCSO’s spokesman Andrew Gant.
Deputies and Daytona Beach front law enforcement responded to a connect with in reference to a girl threatening to bounce from the second flooring of her Motel 6 found at 2992 W. Global Speedway Boulevard, Gant explained.
Deputies arrived at Murphy’s place and knocked at her door a number of instances prior to she inevitably came out with a German shepherd on a leash, Gant stated.

As the dog was unidentified, VCAS staff named the pet dog “Miracle.” VCAS took Miracle to Atlantic Animal Medical center in Port Orange for emergency analysis.
An X-ray disclosed a sewing needle lodged in her right thigh. The needle was eliminated and Miracle is now recovering in the treatment of VCAS.
A petition for custody more than Miracle will be scheduled with the courts in the pursuing weeks, Gant said.
