LONDON (Reuters) – Prince William and his wife Kate get started a tour of Britain by train on Sunday, assembly frontline staff, care house personnel and academics to thank them for their efforts through the COVID-19 pandemic.
Britain has been the hardest strike nation in Europe by COVID-19, with about 60,000 deaths.
William, Queen Elizabeth’s grandson and second-in-line to the throne, and Kate will experience the Royal Practice, travelling 1,250 miles across England, Scotland and Wales.
“The Duke and Duchess are incredibly a great deal seeking ahead to shining a spotlight on the outstanding operate that has been performed throughout the state all over this complicated year,” Kensington Palace reported in a statement.
“(They are also seeking ahead) to sharing their gratitude on behalf of the country for all these supporting their community communities forward of the Christmas vacations.”
Queen Victoria was the very first reigning monarch to use the Royal Practice in 1842, to journey from Slough to London’s Paddington station.
